PDF: Thirty Days of Pursuing Peace with Food and Body
In this deeply thought-provoking journal, you will be embarking on a thirty-day journey towards peace with food and body with the wisest and most brilliant guide on the planet: yourself. The goal of this journal is to gently and lovingly guide you to rebuild the connection between your mind and body, to return inward and truly trust the body to lead you towards nourishment, health, and satisfaction. Just like our bodies will tell us when we need nourishment, they will tell us when the way we are treating them is harmful. The kind, healthy thing to do is listen and honor.
Within the pages of this journal, you will have the opportunity to better understand what you believe, gently confront where those beliefs came from and how they impact your health, and intuitively decide what steps you can take to begin dismantling and unlearning those beliefs.
This journal is for the individual who is tired of being at war with food and their body. Who longs for peace and ease towards and around food. Far too many people let dysfunctional beliefs about these basic parts of being human rob them from joy, vitality, and true peace.
This journal will guide you back toward your true source of joy and peace: yourself.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PONDER QUESTIONS SUCH AS:
Day Two: Write about and process what true health, balance, and wellness look like from your perspective. If you are really honest with yourself, are your current habits healthy or sustainable?
Day Five: For many people, the desire to control food and body is linked to a feeling of lack of control elsewhere in life. Write about the areas of your life where you might be feeling a lack of control and if you feel this is contributing to your food and body challenges.
Day Fifteen: Write about how your daily routines and habits influence your relationship with food; ie., your career, workplace, friends, hobbies, and the content you consume.
Day Twenty: Write about the physical, mental, financial, and relational consequences of your unhealthy and/or dysfunctional relationship with food and your body.
Day Twenty-Nine: Dream about a day with total and complete food and body freedom; what would you do, how would you move, what would you eat, and how would you feel if you had zero concern about food or your body?
